• Hi-Q Egg Products, LLC is a new company established to produce egg products with priorities on food safety, environmental stewardship, employee care, and animal husbandry.
• The new food production and processing farm will be built in two phases on a portion of a 473 acres land parcel in Union County, Ohio.
• Located near intersection of Davis Road and T-249.
• Will be constructed and operated under extremely rigorous standards approved by the Ohio Department of Agriculture, the Ohio EPA, and the Union County Health Department.
• Phase One - A state of the art farm with 10 environmentally-controlled houses for hen care, separate buildings for organic nutrient containment/storage/distribution, an on-site facility for feed processing and grain purchasing, and a high–tech plant for the production of liquid egg products.
• Liquid Egg Products are used for such things as:

• Food Service Industry – Egg dishes prepared in large volumes for schools, hospitals, nursing homes, universities, etc. • Commercial Food Industry – Ingredients for bread, bagels, pastry, ice cream, candy products, nutrition bars, mayonnaise, etc. |
• Construction targeted to commence in April 2008.
• From start to finish this phase will be completed in approximately 2 ½ years.
• Phase Two - Time table for this phase will depend on market demands and will include the addition of 5 more hen houses and associated organic nutrient storage.
• When completed, employment would be up to 75 persons.
• Annual corn volume requirements to produce feed for the hens will be approximately 4 to 6 million bushels.
• Locally-produced grain purchasing to commence in late 2008 or early 2009.
